Whether it be for Cowes Week, your birthday or even a small wedding party; 'Monarch' is an exeptional vessel to charter which can be achieved for surprisingly good value for money. All charters are supplied with simple snacks such as olives, nuts and crisps, or you may wish us to provide something a little more special?

We can supply food and drinks to suit any occasion, or arrange a gourmet picnic with one of the famous yacht clubs based in Cowes. Perhaps a visit to the two Classic Boat Museum exhibitions based in East Cowes and Newport would be of interest to your guests, if so we can arrange a personal tour for you which is sure to make a day to remember.

After the refit, Monarch's saloon will be far more suited to sit down meals and buffets as a change in the seating arrangements will provide far more space.

Plenty of seating at the back, with a cabin seating available and a fold away table.

The collection at the Clasic Boats Museum contains not only classic boats, but also tools, artefacts, books, photographs, film and archival items that relate to much of the history of boat building, sailing, yachting, cruising and racing over the last century, in the Solent and beyond. Their boats also include the 1887 Bembridge rowing lifeboat, the Queen Victoria, and an airborne lifeboat that was dropped to aircrew who had been shot down during the last war. They have several Uffa Fox designs, including Coweslip. All the boats in the exhibition are in a seaworthy condition and are sailed or driven as often as possible. Some are available for special occasions.

Why not include the museum in your charter? Visit their website for further details:

Couple discussing the "Monarch" with the Chief Engineer "Tony Willson".

Please note that although we are happy to take our guests out along the coast to Osborne Bay or Gurnard etc, we are strictly limited by tidal and weather conditions. The skipper's decision of whether to leave the safety of Cowes Breakwater is final and is made to protect not only the vessel, but also the comfort and safety of our guests. In extreme weather we may decide not to pass the chain ferry.
